Home portraits are just that–
hand–painted watercolor portraits of a family home or meaningful location. All portraits are customized from a photo, either a mailed print (which is returned to you) or emailed digital photo. Change the seasons, trim the shrubs, eliminate the neighbors’ swingset, edit whatever you like.

In 3 or 4 weeks, the finished portrait is either or ready for local Chicago pickup or delivery. Past portraits have been:

a family home as the grandparents move to assisted care,
a finished renovation,
a vacation home,
original family business building,
honeymoon spots, and
favorite golf greens, etc.

SIZES & PRICING

12 x 18” watercolor painting
matted to 18 x 24” ..... $ 185

16 x 20” watercolor painting
matted to 22 x 26” ..... $ 240

Paintings of sizes other than those listed can be estimated by the artist.

FINISHING
Paintings are matted and framed to your specifications. Frames are chosen and priced separately. Shipping is available to anywhere in the US.

ORDERING
Click here to email the artist directly and ask any questions or place an order. Include size, matting and framing preferences, and if you have a print or a digital photo to work from (minimum size: 4x6”.) 50% deposit is required for work to begin; A digital pic of the portrait will be emailed to you upon completion; the balance can then be paid and the item shipped, pick up, or delivered.

Credit cards are accepted through Paypal. Ask for more information if this is a preferred option.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
are available upon request in any amount. Please include the recipient’s name, the amount, and whether you prefer presentation card and envelope, or an emailed PDF.

To redeem a gift certificate, place an order and include the certificate number and the name of the giver.
